Love often makes people do stupid and dangerous things – depending on where they are at in terms of their relationship. But being brokenhearted is the most hurtful experience one can ever have that will drive the best of us into madness. Towards the end of the video, he was clearly weakening from the venomous effects of the snakebite. The former zookeeper stumbled off camera as he shakily got up from his seat.

Before the shocking events unfolded, Valeev was off cam, but he was heard saying “Ouch!” when the black mamba struck him. Upon his return, he told his viewers: “If I die, then I die. I just will stay with you for some time. Just in case – on my mobile there is a message for Katya….”

Knowing that he bit off more than he can chew after his limbs became numb, he added, “Pass on to Katya that I loved her very much.”

The couple broke up when Valeev assaulted her after accusing Katya of cheating, thereby resulting in concussion. Weeks after, he publicly regretted his action, but she was already seeking divorce. Katya was reportedly in a new relationship.

During the broadcast, one viewer dialed for an ambulance, but the responding medical team wasn’t able to resuscitate him. He supposedly staggered into the street asking for help, a tad too late.

However, one friend could not bite his tongue. He refuted claims that Valeev wanted to commit suicide, and it had been a mistake, a fatal one at that. According to him, Valeev had been keeping poisonous snakes for about 20 years so he perfectly knew what could happen.

Black mambas are considered the deadliest snake because of their life-threatening venom. Within minutes, snakebite victims deteriorate and die. These snakes can grow up to 14 feet, and are extremely aggressive.
