Actress Kylie Padilla, Aljur’s partner, just gave birth to their son last August 4. It was a 4-day labor, and although Kylie had to go through so much pain, she delivered her child well. While the labor was on-going, Aljur Abrenica was in a press conference for “Ang Probinsyano.”
He admitted that his heart was torn in two.
“Sa totoo lang nagsimula kasi ‘yan na nagkaroon ng matinding kontraksyon, laboring si Kylie kahapon first taping day ko. So ngayon nasa labor siya kasama niya po ‘yung nanay ko, ‘yung kapatid ko at sino man ang makakatulong sa kanya,” said the actor. “Sa totoo lang hati po ‘yung puso ko kung saan po ako pupunta at siguro kaya po nandito ako ngayon [sa presscon] si Kylie sinabi niya sa akin na ‘yung proseso ng pagbubuntis niya kasama ko siya at ito na ‘yung panibagong pagkakataon para sa akin ng magiging kinabukasan ng aming anak.”
Aljur adds that it was Kylie who said that he should attend the presscon. But he will be going to her as afast as he can after the event’s over. Praises has been sung for the actor because of his hands-on approach. Even if he has taping, he manages to spend time with son Alas. He is seen in this Instagram photo carrying Alas to give the infant much needed sun.
Both parents are keen on taking care of their new-born despite busy schedules. Kylie is with Alas 24/7 and gets help and is visited by a lot of their loved ones and family. We all know that Aljur is completely in love with his child as well. He found the balance of being present for Alas and also securing a future for his family.
